That full page includes this Meta Tech Provider addendum plus the original long-form policy.
Meta Tech Provider notice: When we operate Meta/Facebook integrations for business clients, Tech Aid Australia acts as a Tech Provider and processes Meta Platform Data on behalf of and at the direction of our clients.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy is issued by Stormy Chase Forrester trading as Tech Aid Australia (ABN 33 959 110 665) (“Tech Aid Australia”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We operate www.techaidaustralia.com.au and related digital products and services.

Privacy and security contact: hello@techaidaustralia.com.au.

2. Tech Provider role (Meta / Facebook)

When we build, host, or operate software integrations that connect to Meta products (including Facebook Login, Graph API, Instagram APIs, WhatsApp Business Platform, or related Meta developer products) for a business client, Tech Aid Australia acts as a Tech Provider.

In that capacity we process Meta Platform Data on behalf of and at the direction of our clients. The client determines the purposes of processing. We do not use Meta Platform Data for our own advertising, selling of data, or unrelated product development.

3. Meta Platform Data we process

Depending on the client integration and permissions granted, Platform Data may include:

We apply least privilege: we only request and retain data needed for the feature to work.

4. How we use information

We do not sell personal information. We do not use Meta Platform Data to build advertising audiences for sale, or to train generalised AI models for unrelated purposes.

5. Service providers / processors

6. How long we keep data

7. Access & deletion requests

You (or a client, for Platform Data processed on their behalf) may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold.

  1. Email hello@techaidaustralia.com.au with subject “Privacy request”.
  2. Tell us whether you want access, correction, or deletion, and which account/service it relates to.
  3. We may need to verify your identity before actioning the request.
  4. We aim to respond within 30 days (sooner where feasible).

Where we process Platform Data only as a Tech Provider for a client, we may need to refer end-user requests to that client so they can be handled correctly under their relationship with you and Meta.

Some information may be retained where legally required (for example certain payment records) or where deletion would impair security investigations.

To report a security vulnerability, email hello@techaidaustralia.com.au with subject “Security vulnerability report”.

9. Website & account data

When you use techaidaustralia.com.au or create an account, we may collect name, email, phone, business details, support/booking information, payment-related identifiers via Stripe, technical device/browser data, and cookies needed for login sessions and site functionality. Marketing emails are only sent where permitted; you can unsubscribe at any time.
